How does payment work?
When do I pay for the rental equipment?
Full payment is required before delivery of the equipment or labour.
Any period in addition to the booking dates will incur additional charges as per the daily rate quoted. Water Bladder Hire will only pump water back from the bladder once full payment is made for any outstanding funds.
EFT: Be sure to make your payment well in advance of the the delivery date to ensure your booking is confirmed.
Can I return equipment early and claim some money back?
Unfortunately, returning equipment early does not qualify for a refund. Over-booking of equipment will not qualify for a refund.
Example: Booking 2 x 40 000L bags but just using one bag of 40 000L does not imply that water bladder hire must refund the renter for the one bag not used. Bookings are made in accordance with the client's (renters) specifications.
Is there a discount structure for longer period rentals?
Yes, arrangements can be made upon request. Discounts are for Water Bladder Hire's own discretion.
Is there a cancellation fee and time period?
Cancellations made 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund, but is liable for a R100 admin fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking period will incur a 30% fee. Cancellations made within 24 - 12 hours of the booking will incur a 50% fee.
This fee is due to losing business and having turned other customers away because of your booking. We also have to cover the costs of our team and their time spent on preparing your rental equipment, including general administration and cleaning.
What happens if I damage the equipment?
Oh no! Things happen, but if they do you must inform us as soon as possible. If there is any damage to the bags or there is water loss, please contact us immediately.
The renter is responsible for the safety of our equipment and will be held laible in case of negligence.
What is damage versus normal wear and tear?
We do not expect you to rent equipment only to keep it wrapped in cotton wool, so we understand that normal wear and tear happens. Minor punctures (small holes between1mm and 3mm) on the body of bags are considered normal wear and tear, but tears leaking vast amounts of water are considered as damage. Any damage on equipment is for the renters account.
How do the rental days work?
Pumping of the water to and from the bladder is included in our rental period.
Pumping in on day 1 will count as day 1 of the rental. Pumping the water back into your pool will be the last day of the rental period. Placing water back one day after the rental period has ended will incur a daily rate charge, regardless of the time of day. Every day the bag is on site will incur a charge, regardless of time placed or picked up. Our daily rate is not hourly based. Saturdays and Sundays will endure a daily rate charge until the following Monday. Clients need to plan their rental period to ensure pumping of the water does not occur over a weekend. Water Bladder Hire will only be in a position to help pump the water back into your pool on weekdays.
Example:
We have many bookings in one day and cannot ensure our time will be available at a specific time. Please note that we work according to a delivery system that will provide the most effective route for the day. Pools with new marbelite will always have priority to be refilled due to the possibility of marbelite cracking when it gets too dry.
Addional Days Required
If any additional days is required to extend your booking, the customer must communicate this to the office before we head to site as additonal pumping fees may be added if we have to leave site without pumping water back.
All additional days will be invoiced and paid for before water is placed back into the pool.
